Planning to camp at higher elevations? Make sure your Propex heater is ready for the climb. The Propex High Altitude Modification Service helps your heater run reliably at elevations up to 10,000 feet so that you can enjoy clean, dry heat on your mountain adventures.
If you regularly camp above 7,500 feet, we recommend this modification to help your heater perform at elevation.
How it works
For $69.95, send your Propex heater unit to Propex North America for the high-altitude modification. Once the service is complete, your heater will be shipped back to you, ready for your next trip.
Important Notes

Compatible heaters: This service is available for the Propex HS2000, HS2211, and HS2800 models.

What to send: Only the heater unit itself is needed. You do not need to remove the ducting, combustion piping, wiring harnesses, or thermostat.

Local drop-off: If dropping your heater off at the shop, please uninstall it before arriving. Additional hourly service charges may apply if our team needs to assess or remove an installed heater.

Return shipping: Shipping charges at checkout cover the return shipment of your heater from Propex North America.

Packaging: Please pack your heater carefully to prevent shipping damage. Mountain Time Campers and Propex North America cannot be responsible for damage to heaters during inbound shipping. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance.
