We had such a great time meeting all of you on Saturday at Demo Day, and to our Van Cafe customers who came, we had such a great time introducing you to Mountain Time Campers! Before we give the recap, we want to take a second and thank everyone who came out, who has been supporting us, and who has joined us on your journey into Mountain Time Campers. We appreciate every one of you and your immense support!
Now that that sappy moment is over, let's recap. We had some eager folks come see us on Saturday; people were showing up early that morning to hang out with us (yes, we are that cool). We started our morning with bike test rides, Topo Topper tours, SylvanSport set-ups, and most importantly, a lot of dogs. The bouncy house was also a popular destination with the kids, and we have to be honest when we say that our Marketing Coordinator did test out the bouncy house. After much socializing, exploring, and drinking lemonade, it was time to eat. We thank our General Manager, who took his managerial hat off and put his chef apron on to cook us some delicious burgers and hot dogs. My thanks to the chef! We cooled down with yummy ice cream and popsicles, which was most needed on such a warm day.
We were treated to some truly spectacular music from local artist Charlie Stevens. We boogied down to some Bluegrass while we eagerly awaited the raffle announcement. The music took a break, and we made our way to the stage to announce our winners. Our owner, Mike, said some heartfelt words before giving it out to our raffle announcer. The numbers were pulled, cheers were had, maybe some tears for those who didn’t win a bike (sorry!), and it was time to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. We finished the rest of the afternoon lounging in the shade and being serenaded by the sweet sweet music.
We hope you had as much fun as we did at Demo Day, and enjoyed the free ice cream. Congratulations to all our raffle winners; hope you enjoy your prizes! We can’t wait to do it again.
If you’ve read this far, firstly hi! But secondly, here’s a little sneak peek of what’s coming this summer. On June 24th, we’ll be hosting a booth in front of Edison’s Ice Cream for Bike to Work Day, and come August, we will be at Overland Expo all weekend with our vendors. You won’t be able to miss us! Hope to see you there. Until then, get on mountain time!
